Jabberwock Program

The Jabberwock Scholarship Program and Pageant is geared towards young ladies ages 14-18.  The program focuses on:

  • Career Planning
  • Cultural Awareness
  • Self-Esteem
  • Friendship Building
  • Developing Poise
  • Communication Skills
  • Personal Goal Development


The Memphis Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., will present “Visions of Excellence, The Miss Jabberwock Scholarship Pageant”, on Saturday, March 25, 2017, at 3pm at the Halloran Center for Performing Arts located at 225 S. Main Street. Fashion Designer Brandi Russell Wallace, founder of Sacred Heart Collections, will be the guest host for the evening.
The Miss Jabberwock Scholarship Program is one of Memphis Alumnae Chapter’s premier fundraisers. Proceeds from the 2017 Miss Jabberwock Scholarship Pageant will support the Maggie McDowell Scholarship Fund, which has given over $40,000 in scholarships in previous years to help students attend college. This event is FREE AND OPEN TO THE PUBLIC.
